“Some cuts run deeper than others”.
This story was inspired by my own experiences with anxiety in a barber shop.
In my teens, I’d often zone out, feel uneasy (never anyone’s fault), and even struggle to walk through the door. The hardest part was sitting there for 45 minutes to an hour trying to make small talk when inside I was overwhelmed. Many times I sat in silence, not out of rudeness, but because I was battling depression and anxiety.
Thankfully, with great people around me and a lot of self-development, those days are gone. It feels surreal to have turned that feeling I used to have into something visual, and to do it for a cause I deeply care about.
Grateful to everyone who helped bring this to life 🤍✂️
